What is Sidewalk Outreach?
Sidewalk outreach is a form of community defense done near or outside abortion businesses with the intent of compassionately connecting potential clients to healthcare outside of the abortion industrial complex and connecting pregnant women and families to life-affirming resources to support them throughout pregnancy and beyond.
What does it practically look like?
It can look unique for every person and every group. Common methods include:
inviting people into conversations
offering pamphlets with alternatives to abortion
praying
displaying encouraging signs
chalking educational and supportive messages
peer-to-peer counseling
We encourage all forms of respectful sidewalk outreach that dignifies the people being reached.
